Follow these simple steps to create a high-quality accent recording
Make sure your phone or camera is horizontal (landscape mode) when recording.
Before you begin to record your accent video, check that you have your camera set to the best resolution for uploading.
Compress your video file so it's easy to upload. Use HandBrake app to compress to MP4 with file size no bigger than 300MB.
Please familiarize yourself with this script before recording. Try to keep your video under 3 minutes.
By sending us your video you agree to our terms and conditions of copyright release. Please read, print and sign our Release Agreement and send it along with your accent video.
View & Sign Release AgreementThink of 5 things you say that no one else says - phrases or words particular to your town or place. Keep it PG (kids might see this). If you can't think of anything, don't worry, just read the script as is.
